We are Bettina and Mark - and Guanico is not just our home, but our life project. Since January 2019, we have been welcoming guests from all over the world to one of the quietest beaches in Panama. What started as a dream has now become a place where over 500 guests have experienced surfing, relaxation and fresh food by the Pacific Ocean.
Why Guanico, Panama?
Guanico Abajo is located on the coast of Los Santos - far away from mass tourism, right on the Pacific Ocean. The beach break on our doorstep works for all levels, and the waves are constant all year round. No hustle and bustle, no crowds - just sea, nature and waves.

Certified surf lessons - not a hobby, but a passion
Mark teaches with ISA Level 1 certification. This means in-depth knowledge of wave physics, safety in the water and a methodology that works for beginners and advanced surfers alike.
