We have named our surf house "El fin del mundo". It means "at the end of the world". If you want to soak up the sun, enjoy untouched nature and ride great waves, you've come to the right place.

Route:Panama City → Las Tablas → Tonosí → Guanico Abajo
Attention:There is also a Guanico Arriba - please do not confuse the two!
From Panama Tocumen Airport to Panama City center it takes about 30 minutes by cab (approx. $30).
- Albrook Bus Terminal → Las Tablas: approx. 4.5 hours / $9.90. The bus takes a break halfway. No WC on the bus, air conditioning often very cold - bring a jacket!
- Las Tablas → Tonosí: hourly bus, approx. 1 hour / $3.50. Attention: change bus terminal (take a cab, too far to walk).
- 1x daily direct bus Las Tablas → Playa Guanico Abajo at 13:00.
- Last bus Las Tablas → Tonosí at 16:00. After that only cab possible (approx. $60 direct to Guanico Abajo).
- Tonosí → Guanico Abajo: 2x daily (10:00 and 14:00), approx. 30 min. / $1.50.
- Cab Tonosí → Guanico: approx. $12.
With a rental car (ideally with GPS or Google Maps) you leave Panama City via the "Puente de las Américas" bridge.
- Approx. 3 hours drive towards Divisa on the Panamericana highway.
- Before Divisa, turn right towards Pedasí (follow the sign), cross a small bridge.
- Continue in the direction of Chitré, then Las Tablas.
- After Las Tablas: straight on at the traffic circle, at the traffic lights continue towards Tonosí.
- In Tonosí: last gas station (right at the entrance) and last ATMs (Banco Nacional, left).
- Turn right at Banco Nacional, keep left at the large intersection - follow the sign "Playa Guanico".
- 30 minutes drive from Tonosí to Guanico. Turn left at the large supermarket and follow the road to the sea.
- Turn left at the sea, about 200 meters - welcome to the Surf House!
Tip:Observe speed limits - police officers with radar guns on motorcycles.
The airline Air Panama offers flights from Panama City Airport (Albrook, Marcos A. Gelabert) to Chitré or Pedasí.
- From Chitré or Pedasí you can continue by rental car or cab.
- We will be happy to organize an airport transfer for you on request.
